Sustainable Aviation: A Case Study of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

Abstract

This report examines KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ sustainability claims. It assesses environmental, social, and economic initiatives, highlights strengths, misleading aspects, and shortcomings, draws industry implications, and offers recommendations to advance aviation sustainability, and demonstrate that although KLM's sustainable practices have shortcomings, they are conducive to the development of the sustainable aviation industry and the sustainable world.
