Application and Effectiveness Evaluation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Psychological Care for Patients with Anxiety and Depression
Objective: To explore the application effect of cognitive behavioral therapy in psychological care of patients with anxiety and depression. Methods: Research time: October 2024–October 2025, research subjects: 120 patients with anxiety and depression who meet the criteria. The final results after grouping showed that there were 60 cases in each of the experimental group and the control group. The guidance basis for the grouping operation was: computer randomization method. The control group received conventional drug treatment + basic psychological care, and the experimental group implemented cognitive behavioral therapy on this basis to explore the effects of the intervention in the two groups. Results: After 12 weeks of intervention measures, the HAMA score and HAMD score of the experimental group were significantly reduced, comparison p < 0.05. After 12 weeks of intervention, the coping style of the experimental group was significantly improved, comparison p < 0.05. The quality of life of the experimental group was significantly improved after 12 weeks of intervention, comparison p < 0.05. Conclusion: Cognitive behavioral therapy can effectively reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and improve coping ability and quality of life by adjusting patients’ cognitive patterns and improving behavioral habits.
